NATURE ART SOUND

From the heart of Calabria, a 4-day festival connecting 19 countries – from Hong Kong to Tehran, from Chicago to Iceland, from Germany to New Zealand – with over 50 international artists coming together to shape a new aesthetics of listening.

What happens during the festival?

· Concerts featuring classical instruments, experimental electronics, video art, and folk music, designed to engage in dialogue with natural landscapes and historical architecture.
· Interactive installations to explore with both body and hearing, such as Elsewhere in Headphones and the evocative ŚWIETLNY ŚPIEW (a sound and laser installation by Missgod).

· July 18 – Morning 10:30 AM, Ex Convento dei Gesuiti, Vibo Valentia: NOIS//E presentation, meeting with Biagio Francia / Evening 7:30 PM, Agriturismo Ninea, Ricadi: immersive installations, exhibition opening and performances by Gema FB Martín, Emma Assisi, Biagio Francia, Gabriele Albanese, Paola Lopreiato.
· July 20 – 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Palazzo Santa Chiara, Tropea: audiovisual, virtual, and interactive installations.
· July 19–20 – 9:30 PM, Palazzo Santa Chiara, Tropea: two evenings of screenings, electroacoustic performances, and ongoing installations featuring works from three continents.
· July 21 – 9:30 PM, Belvedere del Faro, Capo Vaticano: open-air closing event with electronic improvisations, saxophones, video art, and original soundscapes

Cosa accade durante il festival?

·       Concerti con strumenti classici, elettronica sperimentale, videoarte e musica popolare, creati per dialogare con paesaggi naturali e architetture storiche.

·       Installazioni interattive da esplorare con il corpo e con l’udito, come Elsewhere in Headphones e la suggestiva ŚWIETLNY ŚPIEW (installazione sonora e laser di Missgod).

·       20 Luglio 17.00 23.00 Palazzo Santa Chiara, Tropea: installazioni audio-video, Realta virtuale e interattive.

·       19–20 luglio 21.30 – Palazzo Santa Chiara, Tropea: due serate di proiezioni, performance elettroacustiche e installazioni continue con opere da tre continenti.

·       21 luglio 21.30– Belvedere del Faro, Capo Vaticano: evento di chiusura open-air con improvvisazioni elettroniche, sassofoni, video-arte e paesaggi sonori inediti.
